Maya has more than 20 years Experience in Fortune 50 and FTSE 100 companies. Maya has industry experience in supply chain, logistics and transportation as well as financial services. She has covered roles including strategy, marketing, operations, business development, and overall executive leadership. She has expertise in emerging markets, and is passionate about technology. Maya is now pivoting further into new technologies and service on boards of a 2 tech start ups, one in Fashion tech and one in fin tech, she is also starting several business ventures. Maya is keen on education and serves as an advisor on the MEA board for Duke University. Maya is passionate about driving a diverse and inclusive culture, in her career, she has redesigned products, physical locations for both customers and employees, to make these more accessible and to enable growth in less-served populations. Maya has a BSc. from Clemson University in South Carolina and her MBA (GEMBA 11) from Duke University North Carolina. Maya is married with 2 sons, and loves reading, cooking, physical activity and performance arts.
