About the Hackathon

Guided by leading mentors and experts representing the rapidly emerging Customer Experience industry, the CX Hackathon is set to host upto 24 teams representing Young Saudi CX professionals and university students.

CX Hackathon creates the perfect opportunity for the next generation to learn, analyse, and derive practical and impactful knowledge related to customer experience. The CX Hackathon will also be greatly contributing to the development of CX knowledge in the kingdom and prepare the next generation of Saudi CX professionals and youth to innovate and provide world class CX services and solutions.

To provide additional support, the teams will be provided expert mentorship over the 2-days and pre event sessions guiding them to apply their thinking into generating new ideas that open new perspectives and opportunities.

At the end of the hackathon, each challenge team will present their solutions initiatives to the expert panel, who will review and determine the best and winning initiative.

Participating Teams

Venue Arrangements

The hackathon venue will be equipped with well-supplied team work areas, a presentation/mentoring area, cafeteria-style seating, coffee stations, and all related stationary for each team to utilize.

The CX Challenge

The CX challenge will be prepared after consultation with a Saudi Ministry or Entity addressing some of the vital issues faced by the ministry or the entity.

Each team will be provided detailed information about the challenge at a pre-event briefing session. The experts and mentors leading the hackathon will explain the challenge that need to be solved using the latest thinking, innovation and ideas. Additional reading material, case studies, suggested tools and technique and methodologies from worldwide will be provided by expert mentors along with top class mentoring sessions during the hackathon and in the lead up to the event.

Your mission as team may be to transform and come up with an invaluable and usable innovative CX solution for the future generations to come.

Your solution will:

  • Bring an innovative solution to life - a real time application that can be delivered in an engaging and creative way
  • Make the CX solution interactive and accessible, with context and structure that helps practitioners to easily adapt it in their organisations
  • Be creative, be innovative and invent a new way to transmit CX solution into the future!

Who can participate?

Young Saudi CX Professionals Team
(Upto 12 Teams)
  • A group of upto 5 Saudi CX professionals
  • Saudi nationals/residents representing KSA ministries, companies and private groups can only apply
  • All team members must have maximum of 3 years experience in the CX field
  • All the teams must register at the CX Hackathon website
  • Upto 12 teams will be selected from young CX professionals for the hackathon

1st Prize 40,000 SAR
2nd Prize 15,000 SAR

University Students Team
(Upto 12 Teams)
  • A group of upto 5 Saudi University students
  • One Academic mentor and 4 students
  • The team must have some level of communication, computer and technology skills expected from university students
  • All the teams must register at the CX Hackathon website
  • Upto 12 teams will be selected from University students for the hackathon

1st Prize 40,000 SAR
2nd Prize 15,000 SAR


What happens after you apply for the hackathon participation ?

  • The CX hackathon will evaluate and confirm submissions. They may ask for additional information to verify the information provided in the application form.
  • The judges and mentors will evaluate the application and select best 12 teams from each category by June 7th 2024.
  • The selected teams will be informed and welcomes to join the pre- hackathon briefing sessions conducted online in June, 2024.

All participants will be honored with certificates of participation.
